About the event
We celebrate the Summer Solstice with an extended movement session that includes a 5Rhythms wave from Ajay Rajani followed by an unguided DJ set from Temenos founder FX10K.
It is with great pleasure and gratitude that we welcome the wonderful Ajay Rajani to host a 5Rhythms wave for us at Temenos on what is one of the most auspicious days in the calendar year. The 21st June, the summer solstice, has long been for revered as one of the most symobolic and important days in the calendar and represents life, abundance, light, and creativity at its maximum.
Ajay will be joining forces with Temenos founder FX10K (Felix) to bring you an evening of facilitated movement and wonderful music. Ajay will lead us through a 5Rhythms wave from 7.30pm to 9pm before FX10K offers an unguided DJ set to round off the evening in style (and sweat).
Ajay is an accredited teacher of the 5Rhythms who trained with Jonathan Horan, son of Gabrielle Roth, in 2014. He was born in Africa with Indian roots and grew up in London, England where he thrives in a diverse, multicultural community speaking five international languages. His spiritual journey began over 20 years ago with a strong practice of seated meditation and this continues to inform his 5Rhythms teaching where he inspires embodying the moment and allowing your body to be your greatest teacher. Ajay teaches a regular weekly class at Colet House on a Thursday evening as well as regular workshops throughout the year. To find out more visit his profile page on the 5Rhythms website or his Facebook and Instagram profiles.
Ajay recently recorded a podcast interview for the Temenos Dance Collective which can be listened to on Spotify and all good podcast platforms.
We hope you can join us for what will be a very special evening of music, movement and connection.
