About the event

The Temenos Dance Collective is delighted to be working with a brand new family dance project called 'Soul-Full'.

Soul-Full is a collaborative project set up by a team of parents who are passionate about conscious dance and are seeking to create events for all the family to enjoy.

We hope you will be able to join us for our first ever session on Saturday 18th May between 2-4pm at the beautiful Old School Rooms in Clapton, E5. Temenos resident DJ and founder FX10K will be providing a very special musical journey for us and Flavia Medeiros will be facilitating the space and hosting the warm up session to help parents and children connect and arrive.

We have made every effort to make the ticket structure fair for single parents as well as larger families with our unique pricing structure -

One parent + one child - £15

Two parents + one child - £25

Each extra child ticket (3 and 12 years)- £5

Please note, if you are with baby / infant you are welcome to bring them free of charge. Additionally, if you have a teenager above 12 years old this is not a problem.

 Basic Rules for the Event

  • No shoes in the dance area.
  • Minimal talking, to maintain the immersive experience.
  • Phones off/silent, not appropriate in the dance space.
  • Respect personal space and consent.
  • Encourage expressive, non-verbal vocalisations.

 Soul-Full 's core principles are

Joyful Expression: We believe in the transformative power of dance to express joy, release stress, and foster creativity, offering a fun and engaging experience for both children and adults.

Safety and Comfort: We prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental space where all participants can feel comfortable to explore movement, connect with others, and be themselves.

Community: Our events are designed to build and strengthen connections, fostering a sense of belonging and support among like-minded families.

Growth and Learning: We are dedicated to fostering an environment of growth and learning, encouraging participants to explore new ways of moving, communicating, and interacting.

Conscious Living: Our project reflects a commitment to conscious living, promoting mindfulness, respect for all beings, and an awareness of our impact on the world around us.

Inclusivity: We are committed to creating an environment where every family, individual, and child feels valued, respected, and included, regardless of their neurodiversity, background, or ability.

Collaboration: Valuing the power of collaboration, we welcome ideas, feedback, and contributions from our community, aiming to co-create events that reflect the collective vision and needs of our participants.
