About the event
Our weekly Somatic Movement sessions take place at the Old School Rooms in Hackney and are a mixture of deep embodied connection and playful exploration.
Each session begins on the floor, with eyes closed and attention turned inward. Through guided awareness, participants are supported to sense, listen, and attune to the subtle language of the body.
From this place of stillness and presence, movement gradually unfolds — simple at first, then increasingly dynamic.
Gentle facilitation and open invitations support dancers to remain connected to sensation and awareness as energy and movement expands.
