About the event
For this week's Somatic Movement session we will be exploring the wonderful world of reggae and dub music. Joining Temenos founder Felix Oram for the evening we have the incredible Rodrigo Maciel playing live bass guitar. Get ready for some serious vibrations!!! The influence and impact of dub can be found in nearly every other genre of music from punk to techno, from ambient to drum & bass, and from house to rock & pop. For the first time ever the class will be centred on and inspired by the vibrations and rhythms of reggae and dub music. As with all our sessions, we will begin on the floor, with eyes closed and attention turned inward. Through guided awareness, participants will be supported to sense, listen, and attune to the subtle language of the body.
