About the event
The one and only Rick Nodine is dropping in to the Movement Playground on Friday 3rd May to facilitate a bespoke 'Somatic Dance' experience.
Starting from a deeply introspective somatic warm-up and finishing with 'Collective Joy', this class will gradually transition from our interior sensation-scape to how we inhabit our kinisphere (the space immediately around us) and then to how we co-exist in the shared space with the whole group.
The warm-up will put us in touch with the natural intelligence and innate coordination of our unsocialized body. Then we will play games that open up options for how we can be in a social space with freedom of movement and awareness of relationship.
