About the event
The HUMAN BE:IN is a weekly gathering held at OMUK in King's Cross on Tuesday evenings from 7pm - 9.30pm. The vision is simple: create a weekly space for people to come together to embody the fundamental elements of being human. In the modern world we are constantly being distracted and lured into our heads. We have mobile phones and computers vying for our attention in every waking moment and we are increasingly fragmented and disoriented as a result. At each session we bring together three important elements to support us and resource us. Through meditation, a sharing circle, and somatic movement we offer a contemporary model for being present with ourselves and relating with others.
Meditation - to calm the mind and develop faculty of awareness.
Sharing - to be witnessed and heard.
Somatic Movement - to connect with the body and explore embodied expression.
