About the event
HUMAN BE:IN is a weekly movement session with a difference.
More than just a dance, each session offers us new model for relating and being present with ourselves and others. Separated into three distinct parts: Meditation - to calm the mind and develop faculty of awareness. Sharing - to be witnessed and heard. Movement - to connect with the body and explore embodied expression. Held at OMUK in King's Cross, these intimate and gentle sessions are a sanctuary space offering us the space and time to reconnect and reset.
Music for each session spans a range of genres from ambient and modern classical to deep house and digital funk and is designed to support us to find ways to move and give expression to what we are feeling. At the close of the evening fruit and tea is served upstairs and there is a chance to socialize and connect with other dancers. We…
