About the event
Partnering techniques - moving through polarity and oneness in partnership.
Back by popular demand - Harriet Waghorn, co-founder of Edifice Dance Theatre, returns to the Temenos Dance Collective to host a special class that is open to all levels of dancer.
When we come into partnership with others to move, we are flowing between states of listening/receiving and guiding/offering. The brain can become busy when we dance with others and it can block our bodies sensitivity to hear.
The aim of this class is to support us to open our connection so we can deeply listen, to learn some moves and to play.
Harriet's dance practice involves different partnering techniques including contact improvisation, latin, ballroom and contemporary and she is the co-founder and artistic director of the hugely respected Edifice Dance Theatre company.
For the Jam Temenos founder FX10K will be joined by Rodrigo Maciel on live bass for an hour of wonderful music.
Timings:
Doors Open - 7.15pm
